Edo State's Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, conducted a productive visit on Thursday 11th May 2023, to assess the recently revitalized Prime Feed and Flour Mills in Ewu, located within the Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State. Shaibu extended his commendations to Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, the mill's new owner and investor, who is also the President of LoveWorld Ministry, popularly known as Christ Embassy. He emphasized that the acquisition and revival of the former state-owned Bendel Feed and Flour Mill have ushered in a phase of agricultural expansion and development benefiting both the Esan community and the entirety of Edo State.

Shaibu expressed his impressions after touring the facilities, noting significant expansion efforts that had taken place. He highlighted the refurbishment of obsolete machinery and the addition of new equipment, some of which are awaiting installation. The use of modern machines with the existing ones boasts a remarkable production capacity of 25 tons per hour. This reinstates the notion that introducing new equipment to facilities of this kind injects renewed vitality, leading to substantial ripple effects.

Shaibu's statement resonated, "May God continue to empower him, as we have not only enjoyed his spiritual teachings but are also reaping the rewards of his physical investments." During the discourse on behalf of the management team, Pastor Henry Amekhena, the Managing Director of Prime Feed and Flour Mill, said “All the products from the mill have received full certification from NAFDAC. Currently, the mill produces a diverse range of nineteen products, with plans underway to introduce more,

including semolina and other consumables upon the completion of ongoing plant installations. The rejuvenation of the mill was successfully executed by Nigerian engineers, underlining its operational efficiency. The plant is presently operational with a lean workforce, with the intention to expand the workforce once the full installation of the new plants is accomplished. It is noteworthy that Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Nogheghase Obaseki, pledged in 2020 during his electoral campaign to collaborate with the new investors, Prime Feed and Flour Mill Limited, to expedite the revival of the mill which had remained inactive for several years.
